A New Breed of Everyday Pub

What we did
Brand Positioning
Brand Identity / Guidelines
Communications
Brand Strategy
Hungry Horse, with over 300 pubs nationwide, required a fresh approach to branding that better reflected its everyday pub offer. We initially explored what makes a great local pub, where customers can enjoy great-value food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere designed for families, friends and communities alike.
As part of the project, the existing logo was refined into a clearer, more modern identity. Communications were also refreshed with a softer, more approachable tone of voice across menus, launch materials, social and digital assets, and photography, creating a more welcoming and consistent customer experience.
Following the repositioning, Hungry Horse saw a 2.3% increase in covers alongside a 9.5% rise in drink sales. Brand awareness also grew significantly across digital platforms, reflecting stronger customer engagement and a more consistent brand presence, reinforcing its value-led, welcoming pub experience nationwide.

“Working on this project with Hungry Horse was
all about redefining what a great local pub really stands for - great value, a relaxed atmosphere and a genuinely welcoming space for families, friends and communities to come and enjoy special time together.”
